2022 SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Please thoroughly review STUDENT QUALIFICATIONS & SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION CHECKLIST below. Any missing information or incorrectly submitted information will, unfortunately, disqualify you.

  • For Questions or Concerns, please email scholarship@uniquelyyousummit.org.

  • Funds will be disbursed directly to the institution of your choice once proof of enrollment and registration has been provided.

  • Qualifying applicants (and possibly parents) may be asked to participate in a virtual interview.

  • Application Deadline is Friday, April 1, 2022 at 11:59 PM EST. (All required supporting documentation must be emailed to scholarship@uniquelyyousummit.org on or before the deadline).

STUDENT QUALIFICATIONS

WE EXPECT GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS INTERESTED IN APPLYING FOR THE #FORTHELOVEOFBLACKGIRLS SCHOLARSHIP TO MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

  1. Must be a 2022 Graduating High School Senior

  2. Must have a 3.25 GPA (or higher on a 4.0 scale)

  3. Strong Community Service & Leadership

    • Applicant should have outstanding involvement and/or leadership in school clubs, athletics, and/or community organizations

    • Applicant must be able to provide a record of community service and leadership

  4. Attending a four (4) Year College

    • Applicant must be attending an accredited four-year college/university in pursuit of a B.S. or B.A.

SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION CHECKLIST

WHAT THE APPLICANT NEEDS TO PROVIDE UNIQUELY YOU SUMMIT, INC. IN ORDER TO APPLY:

  1. Two (2) Letters of Recommendation:

    • One (1) from a High School Teacher OR Counselor; AND

    • One (1) from a Community Leader

  2. Most recent transcript WITH cumulative grade point average (GPA)

  3. Applicant must answer ALL 5 essays in this application

  4. Completion of the Financial Aid Analyzer

  5. Provide a copy of the Financial Aid Award Letters of all schools listed on the analyzer
