My name is Tiana Andrews-Harris. I am a 16-year-old Black girl from Atlanta, Georgia, raised in New York. I currently live in East Haven, Connecticut.  I am a junior at an all-girls Catholic high school. I was in the play, Student Council, and on the Honor Roll two years in a row. I exceeded in my classes and worked very hard to achieve my goals. Outside of school, I like to dance hip-hop, bake desserts, and cook delicious dishes. I even own my own baking business, where I bake apple turnovers, cheesecakes, cakes, and shortcakes. I have made cakes for my family for special occasions like birthdays and get-togethers. I dream and aspire to be a restaurateur and open my restaurant and bakeries across the world. Watching MasterChef and other baking/cooking shows and videos ignited my flame to cook. One of them being, The Princess and the  Frog which impacted my dream to be a chef. “For The Love of Black Girls” means a loving community and sisterhood for Black Girls to come together and love one another in harmony. It is a place or feeling where we can be ourselves, without feeling judged by the world and being seen by other people as the stereotypes we are perceived as.
