When the opportunity arose I decided I wanted to be a Cover Girl because I felt it was my duty to make other Black girls such as myself feel understood. Being “Uniquely You” and “For the Love of Black Girls” means to me, being true to yourself everyday no matter what and being proud to be an advocate for the unappreciated group that is Black females.
